BIM models and 3D GIS data is growing rapidly these days, CIM (City Information Modeling) is an approach to collect, organize and manage BIM deliverables and GIS data, and deliver an integrated portal to support business operation, IoT data visualization, project management, team collaboration for city environment, management and construction.
Mr Jack W Zhang, Manager Director of GeoSys Hong Kong Limited, was invited to deliver a speech focus on “Development of City Information Model (CIM) in Greater Bay Area ”by RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) on 8 January 2020.
In this seminar, Jack shared some of his experience participated in these CIM projects deployed in Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

Jack is the Founding Director of an innovative geospatial solution provider. He has innovative business development experience with a demonstrated history of working in the internet industry. He is the member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has a Master Degree in Geomatics of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He was an Airborne Laser Scanner and Airborne Digital Camera System engineer, and a geospatial solution consultant in the world leading geospatial solution providers. In the year of 2014, he founded his company as Technical Director, and has managed numerous innovative geospatial technology projects in Hong Kong and Shenzhen for different government departments and companies.
